The Vexatious Bee
Lo, I dost behold thy mighty wings,
With grace they flutter in precise array.
What mirth thou dost impart,
As thou dost soar 'bove the airy realm.
To what distant realms dost thou take flight?
From whence hast thou ventured forth?
I know not where such places may be,
Yet how thou hast etched thy legacy,
Upon yon wooden beams.
The apertures thou hast wrought vex me so,
In lofty heights shall thou ascend, with wings dust powder so white,
"Enter the hollow thou hast cleft, O buzzing, taunting sprite."
