The Vexatious Bee Lo, I dost behold thy mighty wings, With grace they flutter in precise array. What mirth thou dost impart, As thou dost soar 'bove the airy realm. To what distant realms dost thou take flight? From whence hast thou ventured forth? I know not where such places may be, Yet how thou hast etched thy legacy, Upon yon wooden beams. The apertures thou hast wrought vex me so, In lofty heights shall thou ascend, with wings dust powder so white, "Enter the hollow thou hast cleft, O buzzing, taunting sprite."

How graceful as she sets her sail to search the open sea. The salty air and clear blue skies have beckoned her to leave. So new to scan uncertain shores she hoists the mainsail high. And as she sets her sail with glee, I’m somehow sad inside. To me she is a powerful force she’s strong from bow to stern. I pray she keeps an even keel, so not to heel or turn. The compass that she carries, I gave her as a child, I pray she won’t forget it, its direction from on High. How quickly are the changing tides, the storms and waves that threat. So may she learn the ropes with haste, to batten down the hatches. Given time, in God’s sweet grace, he’ll see the cut of her jib, And gently guide, to peaceful shores, a happy life to live. So as the crow flies, neither left nor right, so swift and unrelenting, Fair winds and following seas, sweet one for a lifetime of adventure.

Space and time, the grocery store. As I search to rest my wheels. Those around me move with haste the coveted speck to steal. As I gaze behind me, I see from where I’ve come, I note the world around me not merely rushed or stunned. Such is as a lifetime of seeking careful rest. Not all the spaces I have dwelt, have been the very best. Even by the will of God, in hardship I have stirred, The traffic of a sorrowful world, my armor I have gird. This vessel in which this world we move, much like a sporty car Is likened to our earthly form, as such we seek afar. Not seeing what’s before us, the spaces meant to be. Before the very beginning, He planned those spots for me. I will not fight or speed for rite, He knows me wholly-to my delight. No need my friend to scrap or worry, I’m here to praise my God, and thus enjoy my journey.
